This is a lovely riverside venue, the breakfast was very good, all locally sourced so was full of flavour. Nice friendly staff. I can see why it’s so popular. Well worth a visit.

Lovely welcoming staff, had to wait a few minutes for a table but not long. Cappuccino was lovely and salted caramel cake scrummy. Good choice on menu and all food looked good. Will be back soon.

I had a lovely breakfast at Reeds on Sunday morning, situated on the banks of the river Trent. I ordered a breakfast baguette, which comes stuffed with sausage, bacon, mushrooms, egg (scrambled)and a topping of cheese. This service with a fresh, strong, black coffee was the perfect to start the day. My wife was slightly less impressed with her order of eggs Benedict (muffin topped with bacon (?) poached egg and a side serving of hollandaise) due to the sauce which seemed closer to bechamel than hollandaise. Overall a he said jt was ‘Ok’. Reeds has friendly staff, a lovely bright atmosphere and very clean and well maintained unisex toilet facilities (always a bonus)
